Job summary

Alstom in Villeurbanne is seeking a Validation Engineer to lead validation activities for the AC4 onboard platform, working with embedded electronics, industrial computing and test means development.

You will collaborate with System Engineers and Software Development Engineers, define validation strategies, perform laboratory testing, and produce technical documentation while communicating in English within an international environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded electronics environments.
• Knowledge of system and software testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and test benches (NI modules, schematics reading, instrumentation).

Responsibilities

• Define validation strategy for AC4 platform.
• Tailor V&V strategies to customer needs (quality, cost, delivery).
• Design and develop integration and test means (test benches, data acquisition, simulation tools).
• Ensure compliance with reference processes, methods and tools.
• Develop and execute manual and automated tests; report results and anomalies.
• Interface with Systems and Software engineers; provide user support.
