ThrustMe in France is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement software powering propulsion subsystems for satellite systems.

You will work at the intersection of software and hardware, collaborating with electronics, mechanics, and systems teams to deliver flight-ready solutions under strict aerospace standards. The role combines research with industrialization in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Embedded Systems or related field.
• Strong experience in embedded software development using C/C++ or similar.
• Knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded platforms, and hardware/software integration.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and integrate embedded software for electronic subsystems used in propulsion systems.
• Develop software tools used to test, validate, and operate electronic subsystems.
• Contribute to the digital design of electronic subsystems in close collaboration with hardware teams.
• Implement software-based radiation mitigation strategies to ensure system robustness in space environments.
• Define, execute, and document verification and validation activities for embedded software.
• Write design documentation, technical reports, and contribute to design reviews.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (electronics, mechanical, systems, physics, and industrialization) to ensure seamless system integration.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes, ensuring alignment with aerospace quality standards and best practices.
