Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse, France, is seeking an Embedded / Simulation Software Development Engineer to join the Avionics Software department. You will contribute to end-to-end development of real-time embedded avionics software within a regulated DO-178B/C framework, covering OS, I/O, and system partitions on final hardware.
You will operate in an agile team with strong emphasis on engineering rigor, DEVOPS practices, and continuous upskilling, reporting to a manager overseeing avionics

You will join the Avionics Software department, part of the Avionics and Simulation Products engineering domain.
This organization acts as an internal supplier of avionics equipment. Engineers in this domain are responsible for the design, development, production, and support of critical embedded products (e.g., Flight Controls, Flight Warning, Communication, Maintenance Equipment) for all Airbus aircraft. It also serves as the Chamber of Reference (CoR) for Software and Electronics and Simulation, thanks to its highly skilled and experienced teams.

You will report to a manager responsible for a portfolio of avionics software products, within an agile organization with flexible role assignments.
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
