EasyMile SAS in Toulouse is seeking an embedded C software engineer to join the Safety ECU team. You will develop and test low-level code for safety-critical ECUs in autonomous vehicles.

You will collaborate on safety certification, co-design algorithms, define test plans, and work with delivery managers to align with system architecture and safety requirements.

This role offers hands-on hardware-in-the-loop testing on real vehicles and prototypes in a collaborative, multilingual environment.

Formación

• Embedded C and Python programming with low-level system development experience.
• System tools: Git, Linux, shell scripting, GCC, GDB.
• Safety-critical software development with unit testing, simulation, and validation.
• Embedded OS architecture and real-time OS concepts.
• CI/CD awareness with Jenkins, Docker, and automated build pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Develop embedded C software for safety-critical ECU ensuring reliability and performance.
• Test your code on hardware-in-the-loop benches and real vehicles/prototypes.
• Collaborate on safety certification for hardware and software components.
• Co-design algorithms with experts to power safety functionalities.
• Define and execute automated test plans (unit/integration).
• Support components from development to deployment, ensuring integration and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Delivery Manager on effort estimates, risk assessments, and planning.
• Align features with system architecture and safety requirements.
