Product Security Engineer role in Pessac at a global technology firm focused on secure identity, authentication and embedded devices. This hands-on position operates in a dedicated laboratory, evaluating security of physical and embedded products and identifying vulnerabilities in real hardware.

You will analyse firmware, review embedded C/C++ code, test interfaces (JTAG/UART/CAN/USB) and contribute to remediation, assurance and certification activities with wider engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded C/C++ and ARM microcontrollers.
• Firmware reverse engineering and vulnerability research experience.
• Knowledge of hardware security evaluation and secure boot.

Responsabilités

• Security evaluation of embedded and physical products.
• Firmware analysis and reverse engineering.
• Review of embedded C/C++ code.
• Analysis of low-level interfaces (JTAG/UART/CAN/USB).
• Security testing of microcontrollers and secure elements.
• Vulnerability reporting and remediation support.
• Develop bespoke test environments and tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on assurance and certification.
