Airbus UpNext invites applications for an Embedded and Application Software Development Engineer to work in Toulouse. The role involves hands-on software development for embedded systems, full-stack capabilities, and integration across APIs, databases and IoT devices.

You will contribute to a strategic demonstrator, collaborating with a startup-like agile team within Airbus. You will engage in hardware/software integration, cloud connectivity, and data telemetry management, while leveraging AI

Qualifications

• Expertise in full-stack software and application development.
• Experience with systems integration and IoT protocols.
• Knowledge of server management and data streams.

Responsabilités

• Define and develop software applications for embedded systems.
• Integrate APIs and define data payloads and contracts.
• Work with diverse data streams and telemetry in high-frequency contexts.
• Design offline-capable logic with caching and data sync.
• Use AI-powered tooling to accelerate development and code quality.
• Ensure proper interfacing of onboard hardware with aircraft systems.
• Implement networking concepts to connect on-premise apps with cloud services.
• Integrate IoT assets and sensors across the stack.
