Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse seeks an Electronics Design HW Architect & Strategy to define hardware development strategy for future aircraft programs, lead process optimization, and manage strategic partnerships.

You will collaborate with the Product Architect on HW/SW requirements, oversee subcontractors, and ensure test strategies and validation through simulations and physical testing, driving high-level technical reviews across Airbus design teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chartered Engineering, Electronics Design or equivalent technical field.
• Deep knowledge and proven experience in Electronics (design, equipment architecture, HW development).
• Strong understanding of environmental requirements (EMC, thermal) and regulations (ABD and DO160).
• Experience in Design for Industrialisation (DFI) and Design to Cost (DTC).
• Negotiation level in both French and English.

Responsabilités

• Define the HW development strategy for upcoming aircraft programs.
• Collaborate with the Product Architect to define HW and SW requirements.
• Oversee subcontractors and strategy for future tenders with design partners.
• Support the test strategy and validate equipment design via simulation and testing.
• Provide high-level expertise through assessments and reviews for internal developments.
