Job summary

Socomec in Huttenheim, part of a five-person team reporting to the Test Platform Manager, ensures the quality of electrical cabinets (UPS and static transfer switch cabinets) manufactured on site.

You will perform electrical tests, contribute to fault-finding, assess non-conforming products, and participate in continuous improvement of test equipment and metrology.

Qualifications

• Two- or three-year higher education qualification in Electrical Engineering, Physical Measurement, or Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing.
• Initial experience in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tests in accordance with defined processes and deadlines to ensure the level of quality expected by the customer.
• Contribute to fault-finding, problem-solving and restoring products to compliance.
• Assess non-conforming products.

As part of a five-person team and reporting to the Test Platform Manager at our Huttenheim plant, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the electrical cabinets (UPS systems and static transfer switch cabinets) manufactured on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tests in accordance with defined processes and deadlines to ensure the level of quality expected by the customer.
• Contribute to fault-finding, problem-solving and restoring products to compliance.
• Assess non-conforming products.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for test equipment (maintenance, updates and metrology).

Electrical authorisations (B2V, B2V TESTING, BR, BC, H0V) are mandatory for this position.

Qualifications
