YMCA of the National Capital Region is hiring a Supply Educator to implement age-appropriate programs for children under the Playing to Learn framework. You will model YMCA values, ensure a safe and welcoming environment, and collaborate with staff and families to support each child's development.

The role requires an ECE diploma or CECE equivalency, fluency in English, and a minimum of two years working with children. Unionized position with strong benefits and commitment to inclusion.

Qualifications

• Education focus on early childhood education (ECE).
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Create age-appropriate programs under the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum.
• Foster self-esteem, problem-solving and conflict resolution in children.
• Maintain open communication with staff and parents.
• Follow YMCA policies and guidelines; participate in team-teaching.
• Prepare snacks and assist with housekeeping in child care programs.
