The World Bank Group is seeking an Extended Term Consultant based in Paris to support IFC business development and client relationship management in the Forestry and Wood Products cluster. Responsibilities include market analysis, reviewing financial statements, and preparing pitchbooks for meetings with Western European sponsors.
Reporting to a senior investment team member, you will help structure early transactions and support internal reporting.

The World Bank Group is currently looking for an Extended Term Consultant to support IFC business development and client relationship management activities of the Forestry and Wood Product cluster. Responsibilities will include conducting market analysis and mapping exercises to identify new target Western European sponsors/clients, desktop reviews of potential Western European clients/sponsors including detailed financial & credit analysis and background checks, support in preparation of pitchbooks and other marketing materials for client meetings and support in client relationship management. Upon successful origination with Western European sponsors, there will be scope to structure and execute these transactions.
The position is based in Paris and will report to a senior member of the investment team.
