Odixcity Consulting is seeking an experienced Drupal Web Developer for a fully remote, full-time/contract role. You will architect, build, and maintain Drupal-based sites and apps, develop custom modules, and ensure security and performance across the platform.

You will collaborate with PMs, UX/UI designers, and other developers, work through the full SDLC—from planning to deployment and ongoing support—and contribute to code reviews and documentation in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands‑on experience in computer science or web development.
• Drupal expertise with 3–5 years hands‑on development and support of Drupal platforms (Drupal 9/10 preferred).
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.

Job Title: Drupal Web Developer

Job Type: Full-Time / Contract

Job Location: Remote

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Drupal Web Developer to join our team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining complex web applications and digital platforms using the Drupal Content Management System. You will work closely with project managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to transform wireframes and visual designs into fully responsive, secure, and high-performing Drupal websites. A key aspect of this role involves custom module development, maintaining core security, and optimizing the platform for speed and scalability. You will be heavily involved in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from technical planning and custom programming to testing, deployment, and ongoing technical support.

Job Responsibilities

• Site Building & Custom Development: Architect, build, and maintain complex websites and applications using Drupal.
• Custom Modules & Themes: Write clean, maintainable, and secure PHP and JavaScript to create custom Drupal modules and modify themes based on design requirements.
• Integrations & APIs: Integrate open-source and third-party web applications or APIs into existing Drupal systems.
• Maintenance & Security: Perform Drupal core updates, apply critical security patches, and maintain module compatibility.
• Optimization & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging, ensure 99% site uptime, and optimize the front and back-end for speed and responsiveness.
• Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, share technical knowledge, and assist other team members to elevate the overall quality of deliverables.
• Documentation: Write and maintain clear technical system documentation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Drupal Expertise: 3-5 years of proven, hands‑on experience developing and supporting Drupal‑based platforms (Expertise in Drupal 9/10 strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Familiarity with modern development workflows including the command line, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and local development environments (e.g., Docker).
• Self‑starter with high self‑motivation, excellent time management, and robust written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience with headless/decoupled Drupal, automated testing, and working within Agile/Scrum environments.
