Job summary

Full Circle Electronics seeks an experienced commercial driver to transport cargo to company facilities and clients. You will load, secure, transport, and deliver goods while keeping the assigned vehicle in roadworthy condition and adhering toDOT regulations.

Responsibilities include pre-inspection, proper loading, paperwork accuracy, and ongoing safety practices to ensure timely deliveries across routes. A valid Class B or C license and six months OTR experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 19 years or older.
• At least six months of OTR (Intrastate) experience required.
• Current Class B or C license.
• Must have recent H6 (K4) from DMV.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate trucks.
• Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
• Pre-inspect truck.
• Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
• Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy

Summary/Objective

Full Circle Electronics commercial driver is responsible for ensuring the transport of company and customer cargo to Full Circle facilities. The driver is responsible for the loading, securing, transport, and delivery of cargo safely and efficiently. The driver is also responsible for ensuring that the company vehicle assigned to the employee is maintained in road worthy condition and that he/she obeys all applicable vehicle laws in the state of California.

Driver Job Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate trucks.
• Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
• Pre-inspect truck.
• Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
• Load and unload cargo.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience driving in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat)
• Air Brake certification
• Experience and knowledge of traffic laws/ DOT regulations
• Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferred
• Able to pass random drug tests
• Clean driving record
• No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years
