Job summary

McCain Foods Limited seeks a Director of Resource-Efficient Operations for GB&I and EMENA to define and execute sustainability-focused operations strategy. You will lead decarbonization, energy and water stewardship, and resource efficiency across multiple sites, aligning with corporate environmental commitments.

The role requires extensive leadership in manufacturing, environmental governance, and capital project oversight, with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Operations, or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive leadership experience in manufacturing/operations within a multi-site industrial environment.
• Deep expertise in environmental compliance and governance.
• Proven experience leading decarbonization and sustainability transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the REO strategy across GB&I and EMENA, aligning priorities with sustainability ambitions and operational objectives.
• Own the regional decarbonization roadmap and drive initiatives to reduce carbon emissions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and standards including ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
• Lead environmental governance, risk management, and engagement with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
• Build and develop a high-performing network of REO, utilities, and environmental professionals across the manufacturing network.
• Govern the environmental, utilities, water, wastewater, and energy capital investment portfolio with prioritization and benefit realization.
