ESSEC Geopolitics & Business Institute seeks a Head of Geopolitical Analysis to lead strategic analyses for patrons and partners. The role collaborates with academic directors and affiliated researchers to shape editorial direction and deliver foresight reports and impactful publications.

The candidate brings 8+ years in strategy, geopolitics and geoeconomics, with proven leadership and strong French/English writing skills; AI tool proficiency is required. Located at ESSEC campus, Cergy.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in strategy consulting, think tanks, or corporate strategy.
Expertise in geopolitics, international relations, and geoeconomics.
Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
Strong strategic vision with execution capabilities.
Experience leading teams or cross‑functional projects.
Proficiency with generative AI tools (LLMs/AI agents).

Responsabilités

Design and manage production of strategic analyses for patrons, partners and clients.
Draft analyses, foresight reports, executive briefings, op-eds and publications; shape editorial direction.
Contribute to development of the Economic Security Observatory and other projects.
Host or contribute to events to raise the Institute’s profile with companies and partners.
Support business development and track economic objectives.
Supervise teams and external service providers involved in expert activities.
Improve editorial production methods and processes.
