Job Description

We are looking for a Director, HR Communications to join our ambitious Global Communications team. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Communications, you will be part of the HR leadership team and act as the strategic communications partner to Ubisoft’s Chief People Officer and HR Directors, shaping the global people narrative and driving engagement around the company’s most critical HR initiatives.

In this role, you will lead the design and execution of global communications strategies for Ubisoft’s multi-year HR strategic roadmap as well as flagship people initiatives such as Ubisoft XP, Career architecture, Ubisoft Fundamentals, the Employer Value Proposition, Compensation & Benefits, and more. You will ensure that HR priorities are translated into clear, compelling stories that resonate with employees worldwide, reinforce our employer brand, and strengthen Ubisoft’s culture.

Working at the intersection of HR and corporate communications, you will collaborate closely with local HR and communications leaders, other members of the Global Communications team, and senior stakeholders across the company to ensure global alignment, consistency, and impact of all HR communications.

Responsibilities
  • Create and execute detailed communications plans and strategies to ensure the success of designated HR projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Global Human Resources department and other departments within the organization to facilitate open and transparent communication.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of HR-related communications, including employee newsletters, memos, announcements, and presentations.
  • Design and write narrative to support the HR roadmap agenda.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to Ubisoft’s CPO and HR leadership on all aspects of people communications.
  • Develop and oversee integrated communication strategies, messages, and engagement roadmaps for priority HR initiatives.
  • Act as a bridge between Global HR and the wider business, ensuring transparency, alignment, and cross-functional understanding of people strategies.
  • Lead the creation of high-impact HR communications assets, including executive messaging, global campaigns, announcements, and employee engagement content.
  • Coach and support HR leaders in their communications, ensuring a clear and authentic leadership voice across multiple channels.
  • Partner with internal communications, employer brand, and corporate brand teams to ensure consistency and alignment in Ubisoft’s people narrative.
  • Define and track key success measures to evaluate communications effectiveness and continuously improve impact.
  • Anticipate emerging trends and adopt innovative practices in people and change communications to position Ubisoft as an employer of choice.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in corporate communications with increasing leadership responsibility, ideally in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with C-suite executives and senior leaders to provide strategic counsel and shape narrative at the enterprise level.
  • Proven track record in internal and people communications, including strategy design and global/local execution.
  • Strong background in HR-related communications, particularly in areas such as talent acquisition, employee experience, compensation & benefits, and organizational change.
  • Excellent project leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a complex global environment.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build trust with senior stakeholders at all levels.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
