Barclays in Paris seeks an experienced Director to join Regulatory Relations, shaping the firm's regulatory strategy across Barclays Europe and the Group, and coordinating high-impact engagements with European regulators.

The role requires 12+ years in regulatory, legal, compliance or governance, with a deep understanding of European financial services regulation and the ability to brief senior executives across Paris and London.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in regulatory, legal, compliance or corporate governance roles.
• Strong understanding of European financial services regulation and supervisory framework.
• Experience engaging with senior executives, boards and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication, briefing and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience coordinating across Paris and London in a multinational setting.
• Chief of Staff capabilities with strategic thinking and organisational leadership.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate regulatory requests, reviews, examinations, responses and notifications with accountable executives.
• Advise internal stakeholders for regulatory engagement and document actions.
• Provide timely MI on regulatory engagement and priorities.
• Identify emerging themes and escalation to stakeholders.
• Support external relations and advocacy in France.
• Coordinate materials for Board, Executive Committee and regulatory engagements.
