A software preservation organization in France is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to enhance their operations team. The role involves supervising infrastructure, deploying platforms, and participating in team activities. Ideal candidates should have solid Linux expertise and experience with Kubernetes. The contract is full-time and renewable, with a salary range between €30,000 and €70,000, based on experience. Opportunities for telecommuting and generous vacation days are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience on Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration environment.
• Solid Linux experience on a production environment, preferably at scale.
• Experience with configuration management technologies such as Puppet, Chef or Ansible.
• Operation of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (Cassandra).
• Experience in operating a Big Data environment.

Responsabilités

• Supervision and maintenance of the Software Heritage infrastructure.
• Platform deployment and automation.
• Support and troubleshooting.
• Active participation in team life.
• Progress monitoring and reporting on assigned projects.
