Job summary

WhiteBIT is hiring a DevOps Engineer with Big Data skills to own and operate the data and analytics platform. You will design and manage data infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm, build pipelines for ETL, Airflow, dbt models, and manage ClickHouse/Snowflake/Redshift ecosystems.

Strong Python/Bash/SQL scripting and data security focus are essential. You will collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data workflows across the data

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience; 2+ years building analytics infrastructure
• Experience moving, storing, and serving data at scale
• Strong scripting in Python/Bash/SQL and a focus on data security and zero-trust access

Responsibilities

• Own the data and analytics platform infrastructure end‑to‑end
• Manage Terraform, Ansible, and Helm for IaC and configuration
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and data code (ETL, Airflow DAGs, dbt models)
• Maintain multi-terabyte databases and data warehouses (ClickHouse, Snowflake/Redshift)
• Oversee S3-compatible data lake storage, partitioning, formats, lifecycle policies
• Refactor Python/Bash/SQL scripts to improve runtimes and reduce manual work
• Tune performance and control costs for clusters and warehouses
• Implement monitoring, alerts, and security/access controls for sensitive data
