About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled C# Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of a complex payment processing engine built on event-driven architecture.
This role involves working on mission-critical systems that handle high-volume, real-time financial transactions with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain components of our payment processing engine using C# and .NET Core.
- Implement and optimize event-driven architecture patterns (e.g., pub/sub, message queues).
- Collaborate with architects and product teams to ensure system scalability and fault tolerance.
- Integrate with external payment gateways, banking APIs, and internal services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and participate in continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Contribute to performance tuning and system optimization for high throughput and low latency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with C#/.NET Core.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, asynchronous programming, and message-based systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Solid knowledge of Postgres SQL or other relational databases; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
- Understanding of payment systems, financial protocols, or transaction processing is a plus
- Proficiency in unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
