DATA4 is seeking a Design Manager to lead the end-to-end design of data centre and campus infrastructure projects. You will ensure solutions meet Data4 design standards, customer requirements, programme constraints, and quality benchmarks, while owning the campus design delivery.

You will act as the technical authority across CSA, MEP, controls, networks and power substations, balancing technical performance, economics, schedule, and supply chain availability.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years’ experience in data centres.
• Technical Design Engineering experience (Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, ICT, Civil/Structural).
• Proven experience leading multi-discipline design scopes across campus and data hall infrastructure.

Responsabilités

• Lead design delivery: Own high-level, low-level, and campus masterplanning design.
• Act as technical authority: Provide product implementation expertise across CSA, MEP, controls, networks, and power substations.
• Client: Interface with the Client during the sales cycle and during the delivery of the data centre.
• Authorities: Lead the design permitting process and secure permits for construction.
• Ensure design quality & performance: Guarantee Max IT capacity and SLA compliance; deliver efficiency targets.
• Define and optimise technical solutions: Set equipment requirements with programme, delivery, and supply chain; optimise cost metrics.
• Drive modular / prefabricated design approaches; validate vendor submissions.
• Support constructability: Define construction methods and ensure buildability.
• Coordinate commissioning readiness: Define and validate commissioning protocols for execution.
• Engage with customers & stakeholders: Support technical discussions and lead technical validation during execution.
• Drive project alignment: Work with project controls to ensure schedule and cost adherence.
