Delivery Consultant – Migration and Modernization, EMEA FR SDT
In this role you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will help customers navigate their cloud journey by applying best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
A Day in the Life
As part of the AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team, you will help drive revenue and adoption across small‑ and mid‑market accounts, as well as enterprise‑level customers including public sector. You will also work closely with the AWS Global Support team to ensure customers with mission‑critical applications have world‑class support.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in large‑scale software development or application engineering, with recent coding experience in two or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Objective‑C, Node.js, .NET, Python, PHP, or Ruby.
- Experience as a technical specialist in customer‑facing roles.
- Experience managing and delivering large‑scale IT projects, including definition and execution of successful project controls.
- Knowledge of networking and access protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, LDAP and Microsoft Active Directory.
- Cloud Migration Project experience within domains of Applications, Data Center, OS, Database, or Servers.
- French and English required.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS experience preferred, with proficiency across services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation.
- AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred.
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience architecting, designing, and developing applications on the AWS platform.
- Experience designing and building applications using container and serverless technologies.
- Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability.
- Exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation).
- Experience with CI tools (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
- Direct customer, partner, or third‑party developer experience.
- System Administration experience in an enterprise with large‑scale legacy application portfolios.
- Integration of AWS cloud services with on‑premise Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP technologies.
- Use of AWS services in distributed environments with Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP.
