UGG at La Vallée Village in France is seeking a Senior Store Manager to lead our high-volume outlet, driving excellent customer experiences and commercial performance.

You will manage the store leadership team, develop talent, and collaborate with the District Manager to implement strategic initiatives while ensuring compliance with brand standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Store Manager, Multi-site Manager or Area Manager in a retail environment.
• Experience in training and developing a team.
• Fluency in French and English is a requirement for this role.
• Agility and flexibility to meet the needs of the business during peak periods.

The role

Our Senior Store Managers are integral to the success of UGG. As a Senior Store Manager of our high volume Outlet store in La Vallee you will lead a complex, high-volume store through and with your leadership team, including direct management of store leadership. You will set the strategic direction of the business, ensuring commercial opportunities are maximised, operational standards are consistently executed, and exceptional customer experiences are delivered.

This is a multilingual role requiring fluency in French and English.

Core Competencies

• Line Manager to the Store Leadership team and supports other stores in absence of District Manager or key projects
• Provide leadership for the store, acting as second in command to DM and supporting long term success of the business
• Direct line manager to the Store Manager providing coaching, guidance and accountability for business results
• Oversees the entire store operation, ensuring alignment across all functions, departments and teams
• Leads the development and execution of commercial strategies to grow comparable store sales, increase profitability and delivery against business objectives.
• Partners with the DM effectively to identify opportunities to improve store and regional performances and supports the execution of market initiatives
• Acts as a key stakeholder within the district, sharing best practices and providing support to other locations when req
• Builds strong cross functional partnerships with Retail, PX, Marketing, VM, Merchandising and Ops teams to drive business goals and brand growth
• Ensures compliance with all company policies, operational procedures, legal requirements and market regulations
• Drives a culture of operational excellence through regular review of business performance, operational standards and customer experience metrics
• Champions a consumer first culture, ensuring execution of premium service standards, customer loyalty initiatives and retention strategies
• Owns talent development and succession planning for the store leadership team, creating clear development pathways and strengthening the team
• Leads recruitment, selection, onboarding and retention strategies to build high performing and engaged teams
• Oversees labour, payroll and controllable expenses, ensuring cost efficiencies are maximised while protecting the customer and employee experience
• Analyses business trends, KPIs and customer insights to identify opportunities and implement action plans to drive sustainable growth
• Acts as a role model and champions the Deckers values, embedding them across all aspects of the business and team culture
• Serves as the senior escalation point for complex customer, people and operational matters, partnering with the District Manager where required
