La Ruche d'Or de Pierrefonds recherche une éducatrice de la petite enfance compétente pour intervenir auprès d’enfants en bas âge dans une structure de garde locale à Pierrefonds.

Le poste propose un horaire de 30 à 40 heures par semaine, sur place, avec une rémunération horaire entre 18,00 $ et 22,00 $. Vous évaluerez le développement et participerez à des activités quotidiennes axées sur le développement global des enfants.

Formación

• Formation exigée en éducation de la petite enfance (ECE) ou équivalent.
• Expérience avec nourrissons et jeunes enfants favorable.
• Personne patiente, organisée et capable de travailler en équipe.

Responsabilidades

• Évaluer le développement des enfants et préparer un plan d'apprentissage adapté.
• Bain, change et alimentation des nourrissons et tout-petits.
• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des programmes de soins favorisant le développement physique, cognitif et social.
• Conte et activités de stimulation (histoires, chansons, jeux).
• Aider les éducateurs dans la mise en œuvre des activités et la tenue des dossiers.
• Encourager l'expression créative (art, musique, jeux imaginatifs).
• Préparer les repas et aménager les espaces pour les temps de repos.
• Observer les signes de difficultés et préparer des rapports pour les parents ou superviseur.

Tasks

• Assess the children’s development in order to prepare a learning plan tailored to his needs.
• Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
• Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
• Storytelling
• Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
• Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
• Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
• Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
• Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
• Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
• Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
• Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
• Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
• Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
• Establish guidelines for behaviour
• Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
• Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
