Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is seeking a technically skilled Data Support Engineer to assist quantitative researchers and traders with data access and usage. You will onboard new hires, train on data tools, and coordinate with data engineers to resolve issues.

You’ll manage JIRA workflows, track requests, and help extend data coverage including live collections and backfills. A degree in a related field and strong Python/data skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, finance, or related field.
• Experience in data support, IT helpdesk, or technical support, ideally within finance.
• Strong command of Python and data libraries.
• Proficiency with data systems, pipelines, and APIs.
• Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools.

Responsabilités

• Provide first-line support to researchers and traders for data access and usage.
• Collaborate with data engineers to resolve data issues.
• Onboard new hires and train them on using data tools and processes efficiently.
• Manage JIRA workflows, track support requests, and ensure timely resolution of data issues.
