Edenred is seeking a Data Streaming Architect to design and oversee scalable, high-performance streaming infrastructure across platforms. You will lead technical guidance for delivery teams and collaborate with product, content, and analytics groups to embed streaming solutions into existing offerings.

The role requires deep Kafka expertise, architecture design skills, and strong problem-solving abilities to drive the company’s digital streaming initiatives while maintaining security and data

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of data streaming technologies and frameworks, especially Apache Kafka, including design, deployment, and operation at scale.
• Ability to design scalable and reliable streaming architectures for high-throughput data flows and low-latency processing.
• Experience in building API services and guiding teams in delivering digital streaming solutions.

THE CONTEXT

The Data Streaming Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture and infrastructure that support the organization’s streaming services. This position is focused on creating scalable, efficient, and high-performance streaming solutions that enhance user experiences and drive engagement.

YOUR ROLE

As Data Streaming Architect, your key responsibilities will include:

• Architecture Design: Develop and implement a comprehensive architecture for streaming services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance across various platforms.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to delivery teams on utilizing asynchronous, publish/subscribe, and data streaming patterns at scale to improve system efficiency and responsiveness.
• Integration Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content delivery, product management, and user experience, to integrate streaming solutions seamlessly into existing products and services.
• Kafka Platform Expertise: Design, deliver, and operate a Kafka platform at scale, ensuring robust data streaming capabilities and reliable message processing.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze streaming performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance user experience and minimize latency.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that streaming services adhere to security standards and comply with relevant regulations, including content protection and user privacy measures.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in API design and development, including experience in building API services, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the leadership skills needed to guide teams in delivering high-quality API solutions that drive the organization’s digital transformation and enhance user experiences while effectively managing data domains.

YOUR PROFILE

You have an extensive experience in designing, delivering, and operating a Kafka platform at scale, a strong background in streaming technologies, and excellent problem-solving capabilities. They will play a crucial role in driving the success of the organization’s streaming initiatives and enhancing overall user satisfaction.

• Data Streaming Expertise: In-depth knowledge of data streaming technologies and frameworks, especially Apache Kafka, including design, deployment, and operation at scale.
• Architecture Design Skills: Proficiency in designing scalable and reliable streaming architectures that accommodate high-throughput data flows and low-latency processing.
• Data Domain Design: Experience in designing data domains and data models that support efficient data organization, accessibility, and smooth integration across various systems.
• Asynchronous and Publish/Subscribe Patterns: Strong understanding of asynchronous communication patterns and publish/subscribe models, including their implementation in streaming architectures.
• Data Integration: Experience in integrating diverse data sources and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and real-time processing capabilities.
• Programming Proficiency: Skills in programming languages commonly used in data streaming, such as Java, Scala, or Python, with experience in developing streaming applications.
• Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and analytics teams.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues within streaming systems and implement effective solutions
