Job Title
Data Scientist II (Chicago, IL) – 100% telecommute with option to work in Chicago office.
Responsibilities
- Data mining and machine learning to optimize engagement.
- Customer segmentation using machine learning algorithms and clustering methodologies (K‑means, hierarchical clustering, DBSCAN).
- Mix modeling and performance optimization: conduct regression and time‑series analyses and implement close‑loop analytics modeling.
- Data analysis: conduct in‑depth historical data analysis, uncover complex patterns and seasonal trends, generate actionable insights on customer demand, develop strategic recommendations for inventory management and optimization strategies.
- Leverage advanced data patterns and machine learning techniques to help the customer create marketing strategies: analyze customer journeys across digital and offline channels, understand complex customer preference patterns, improve campaign performance metrics and develop targeted recommendations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related STEM discipline.
- Three (3) years of experience as a Data Scientist or related occupation, developing strategic roadmaps using advanced machine learning techniques for advanced technological implementations.
- Two (2) years of experience writing Python and SQL code for large datasets.
- Two (2) years of experience with regressions, classifications, clustering, deep learning, and natural language processing.
- Two (2) years of experience using Power BI and Locker to convert raw data.
- Two (2) years of experience with Data Pipeline Development & ETL.
- Two (2) years of experience leveraging cloud platforms, data warehousing, big data and cloud services: Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Apache Spark and Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Two (2) years of experience with Version Control using Git.
- Two (2) years of experience with advanced analytical and problem solving of complex datasets for making data‑driven decisions and strategies.
Salary
$136,500 to $145,000 per year. Full‑time position (40 hours/week).
