Job summary

Wiremind, a Paris-based tech company specializing in AI-powered logistics and SaaS solutions, is seeking a Data Product Owner Intern to contribute to AI/ML forecasting tools within our Cargo Revenue Management offering. You will collaborate with Data Science, Software, and Product teams to deliver features from idea to deployment.

You will participate in model performance monitoring, feature testing, and documentation, while supporting client implementations as a Data subject expert.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or Management is required.
• Strong analytical skills are essential.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools is expected.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication is required.
• Interest in aviation and AI-driven solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of new feature delivery (needs, solution spec, prioritization, testing, deployment).
• Contribute to monitoring ML/AI model performance and share results with stakeholders.
• Support testing efforts, documentation, and client implementations as a Data subject expert.
• Provide customer support related to AI/ML issues and collaborate with Data Science, Software and Product teams.

CARGOSTACK is a comprehensive SaaS solution that enables airlines to manage their air cargo operations. It combines a Cargo Management System (CMS) with AI-powered optimization modules that generate forecasts and help users make better decisions, such as determining the optimal capacity to sell (in kg and m³), the right pricing, the appropriate overbooking level, and the best pallet configuration (think of it as a 3D Tetris optimizer).

Your missions

As a Data Product Owner Intern, you will contribute to the development of our AI/ML-powered forecasting and optimization tools, which form a core part of our Cargo Revenue Management solution.

You will be part of the Data Product team and collaborate closely with the Data Science, Software, and Product teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Product development:
  • Take part in all the stages of new features delivery (expression of the need, specification of the solution, priorization of the development, testing, deployment)
• Machine Learning performances monitoring:
  • Participate in the design, implementation and improvement of tools to efficiently monitor performances of our AI/ML models
  • Share performances with the stakeholders in cooperation with the Data Science team
• Contribution to overall team responsibilities:
  • Participate in testing efforts
  • Assist in writing documentation
  • Customer support related to AI/ML issues
  • Participate in supporting client implementations as a Data subject expert

Your profile

• You are pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering or Management and looking for a internship
• You have strong analytical skills
• You are proficient in data analysis and visualization tools
• You're passionate about addressing business challenges through innovative technological solutions
• You are curious, self-motivated, and have high standards for the quality of your work
• You have strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively at all levels in English.
• (Preferred) You are passionate about the aviation industry.
