Airbus SAS is seeking a Data Governance & Compliance Responsible to lead data governance and policy enforcement within Digital For Operation in Toulouse. The role emphasizes secure data sharing with the Extended Enterprise, compliance with ITAR/EAR, and a push toward agile, trust-based governance across SAP and PLM ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Data Management, or Logistics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in highly regulated industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, or Defense.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, data sensitivity classification, and export control/compliance.
• Experience with ERP/PLM systems and SAP S/4 Cloud or Dassault 3DX is a plus.
• Ability to write and execute functional test cases to validate data security and governance.

• Act as key liaison for business community; lead workshops to translate needs into data requirements.
• Evaluate platform options (SAP S/4 Cloud; Palantir; AWS; Google Gemini) via POCs.
• Manage data lineage from design to SAP ecosystem; ensure traceability.
• Define adaptive data governance policies balancing compliance with agile collaboration.
• Investigate Master Data Management and data quality to support standardization.
• Explore AI-driven governance and automated metadata tagging.
