Job summary

Brother France is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to strengthen coordination, delivery quality and scalable data pipelines across Europe. The role blends people management with hands-on technical work, leading data engineers and collaborating with Insights, Data Governance, IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical data solutions.

You will help design and improve pipelines with Snowflake, Matillion and Snowpipe, and establish best practices for development,

Qualifications

• At least five years in Data Engineering, Data Platforms or data pipeline development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day Data Engineering activities, prioritisation, progress tracking and stakeholder communication.
• Manage and support a team of data engineers across several European markets.
• Contribute to the design, development and improvement of data pipelines using Snowflake, Matillion and Snowpipe stack.
• Participate in technical reviews to improve code quality, documentation, maintainability and pipeline reliability.
• Collaborate with Insights, Data Governance, IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, practical data solutions.
• Help establish best practices for development, testing, monitoring and incident management.
• Support team members in developing their technical skills and autonomy.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data platform and the progressive standardisation and scaling of Data Engineering practices.
