Reboot Monkey in France is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for a full-time, on-site role at our facilities in Val de Reuil. You will support mission-critical infrastructure, perform hardware installations, cabling, racking, and cross-connects.

The role requires 2+ years in data centers, strong cabling and server hardware skills (Dell/HP/Supermicro), and good English communication. DCIM and ticketing experience are preferred; on-site lifting and travel to client sites may be

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills including Cat5e/6/6a and fiber (single- and multi-mode).
• Experience with server hardware from Dell, HP or Supermicro.
• Professional English communication.
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS or similar) preferred.
• Network certifications (CCNA or CompTIA Network+) preferred.
• Experience with DCIM and ticketing systems preferred.
• Familiar with major colocation providers.

Responsabilités

• Install, decommission, and migrate hardware in data center.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• Rack, stack, and label servers.
• Create and manage cross-connects and patch panels.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
• Work on-site in a raised-floor data center environment.
• Lift 50+ lbs as part of normal duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams
• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber)
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments
• Own transportation and ability to work on-site
