A leading tech service provider is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for on-site work in Tours, France. This role involves critical infrastructure support at data center facilities, including hardware installations, server management, and structured cabling tasks. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills in English, in addition to preferred certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience required.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.
• Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.

Connaissances

Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, fiber)

Server hardware experience (Dell, HP, Supermicro)

Professional communication skills in English

Network monitoring tools

Standard tools: screwdrivers, cable testers, label makers
