Jobtailor in Paris is seeking a motivated student to join our data team for a 6-month internship starting December 2026. You will build analytics-ready datasets with dbt and SQL, document data models, and help create group-wide dashboards in Sigma.

Working alongside Marie-Sophie, Head of Data, you will develop automated data quality checks, support data-driven decisions, and explore AI-powered self-service BI tools, bridging technical and business teams.

Qualifications

• Available for 6 months, starting December 2026.
• Student from a top business or engineering school (or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical teams and business users.
• Rigorous approach to data quality and attention to edge cases.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Sigma, Metabase, Tableau, or similar.
• Basic development tools: Git, terminal, command line.
• SQL proficiency and/or experience with dbt.
• Enthusiasm for AI tools, assistants, and agents.
• Curiosity and strong desire to learn.
• Fluent in French and English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Build transformed, analytics-ready datasets using dbt and SQL.
• Ensure data models are documented, tested, and follow dbt best practices.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring.
• Build and organize official group-level dashboards in Sigma.
• Maintain a single source of truth in Sigma without duplicated metrics or competing versions.
• Monitor BI platform performance and usage patterns.
• Create a single source of truth for company business context and metric definitions.
• Structure business knowledge, documentation, and ownership for humans and AI agents.
• Ensure consistency between data and how teams understand and use it.
• Work daily with AI coding tools such as Claude Code.
• Identify repetitive data-lifecycle tasks and design scalable automation solutions.
• Build and experiment with AI agents for model documentation, data-quality monitoring, and first-line business-user support.
• Contribute to AI-powered self-service BI experiences such as text-to-insight.
• Collaborate with Marie-Sophie, Head of Data, and other teams to support data-driven decisions.
