Acting as the primary interface between business stakeholders and delivery teams, the Product Owner translates domain needs into a clear product roadmap, balancing value, feasibility, and capacity. The role focuses on what should be built and why, while relying on specialized roles to define how it is built.

Prioritize the backlog based on business value, risk, and strategic alignment.
Ensure clear articulation of value hypotheses and success metrics.
Track adoption and realized business benefits of data and AI products.
  • Stakeholder & Demand Management
Act as the single point of accountability for data product demand within the assigned domain.
Engage Purchasing stakeholders to clarify needs, priorities, and trade‑offs.
Manage expectations and sequencing of delivery based on capacity and value.
  • Backlog & Delivery Alignment
Translate business needs into structured backlog items with clear acceptance criteria.
Partner with delivery teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
Accept delivered features based on business outcomes and quality standards.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with Data Manager to ensure governance requirements are addressed early.
Align with Ontology & Data Architecture Lead to leverage approved data structures.
Collaborate with CX & Design Lead to ensure usability and adoption.
Coordinate with Business Process & Automation Lead to align product delivery with process transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, International Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, or equivalent; Other technical degrees with business background also considered.
  • 8+ years of experience in the automotive industry or IT.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple services or initiatives with varying complexity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work effectively across global teams and organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive purchasing strategies in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Highly proactive and visionary, with a track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement.
