Sphere Digital Recruitment is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect for a 3‑month contract with a strong view to a 6–12 month extension, hybrid in Lyon, France. Fluency in French and English is required to engage with stakeholders.

The role focuses on Finance modules, Project-to-Profit processes, architecture governance, and end-to-end ERP implementations across global organizations. Prior D365 F&O leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of ERP consulting experience with at least 5+ years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong expertise in D365 Finance modules and Project Operations / Project Accounting.
• Experience leading multiple end-to-end D365 F&O implementations and global finance transformation programs.
• Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, financial controls and compliance processes.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations and transformation programs.
• Work with stakeholders to translate objectives into scalable ERP solutions.
• Design enterprise-wide Finance and Project-to-Profit processes aligned with best practices.
• Provide governance, architecture reviews, and design authority throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create design documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.

Job Title : D365 Solution Architect (Finance)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect with deep expertise in Finance modules and Project-to-Profit business processes. The ideal candidate will lead solution design, business transformation initiatives, and end-to-end ERP implementations across global organizations. The candidate should possess strong functional and architectural knowledge of D365 F&O Finance, Project Operations, and related integrations, along with the ability to engage effectively with French-speaking customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations and transformation programs.


• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into scalable ERP solutions.


• Design enterprise-wide Finance and Project-to-Profit business processes aligned with industry best practices.


• Provide solution governance, architecture reviews, and design authority throughout project lifecycle.


• Create functional and solution design documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.

Finance Functional Skills

Modules : General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable , Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax Management, Cost Accounting, Financial Consolidation, Intercompany Accounting, Financial Reporting, Project Operations Expertise

Stakeholder Management

• Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution discovery sessions.


• Advise executive stakeholders on ERP strategy and digital transformation initiatives.


• Collaborate with global delivery teams, business SMEs, and technical architects.


• Support pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, estimations, and proposal development.

Delivery Leadership

• Guide implementation teams through design, testing, deployment, and hypercare phases.


• Review functional configurations and integration designs.


• Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices and implementation methodologies.


• Mentor functional consultants and solution designers.

French Language Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops and business discussions with French-speaking stakeholders.


• Review and support business process documentation in French and English.


• Facilitate communication between global delivery teams and French-speaking business users.


• Support UAT, training, and change management activities for French regions.

Required Skills & Experience

Functional Expertise

• 10+ years of ERP consulting experience with at least 5+ years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.


• Strong expertise in D365 Finance modules.


• Deep understanding of Project Operations / Project Accounting / Project-to-Profit processes.


• Experience in global finance transformation programs.


• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, financial controls, and compliance processes.


• Experience leading multiple end-to-end D365 F&O implementations.


• Ability to design scalable enterprise solutions across multiple legal entities and geographies.

Language Requirements

• Professional proficiency in French (B2/C1 level or above).


• Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English.


• Ability to conduct requirement workshops and solution discussions independently in French.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field.


• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant certification preferred.


• MBA/CA/CMA/CPA qualification preferred.


• Microsoft Solution Architect certifications preferred.
