It supports all stakeholders in the space ecosystem—industry, institutions, laboratories, and startups—to stimulate research and innovation, and to bolster the competitiveness of our space economy. As a responsible employer, CNES promotes a safe and sustainable space environment, creates shared value through space exploration, and reduces its environmental footprint. It upholds strong values such as excellence, passion, and a commitment to addressing the challenges of tomorrow. Involved in around one hundred space projects, most of which are international collaborations with other space agencies, CNES is an institution where missions have meaning and where employees strive to build a future where space serves everyone.

As part of the CNES cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for risk analyses of new systems and defining the requirements to be implemented by projects in order to comply with the CNES Security Policy.

You are also required to assess system security vulnerabilities and propose associated protection measures.

As a Security Architect, you will:

  • Ensure, on behalf of the project manager, that the related security issues are addressed.
  • Produce sensitivity analyses and risk assessments of the systems
  • Define the security requirements and determine the balance between physical and logical security based on the needs
  • Create or validate the system security recipes
  • Conduct residual risk analyses and prepare approval files.

You ensure the organization and systems comply with security requirements in all phases of the project, up to and including decommissioning.

You also contribute to the system vision of information system security.

Profile

Holding an engineering degree or equivalent, with a specialization in cybersecurity technologies, you have 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar environment which has allowed you to develop your skills in security, safety and information systems security, with knowledge of the associated standards, regulations and techniques.

You are skilled at working in a team and across different professions and fields. Your rigor, analytical skills, and curiosity complement your technical expertise and are essential assets for success in this role.

A good level of English is required for this position.

If you wish to contribute to the reliability of future space missions within a multidisciplinary team and in a friendly environment, then this position is for you!
