Job summary

DataDome is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to protect customers from bot attacks and analyze traffic data from our detection platform. You will collaborate with threat researchers and data scientists to enhance detection and respond to incidents during critical moments, like major ticket sales.

The role involves building data visualizations, identifying attacks, and maintaining alerts within our Elasticsearch/MariaDB stack.

Qualifications

The role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to protect our customers from bot attacks. You will analyze the traffic collected by our detection platform, build data visualizations, and be the expert our customers rely on when attacks happen, especially during their most important moments, like major ticket sales.

You will be more specifically in charge of:

• Joining our threat research team and working with threat researchers and data scientists to challenge our detection engine
• Analyzing huge web traffic datasets to identify and block malicious traffic
• Analyzing past attacks to strengthen detection and support our customers
• Identifying potential attacks and adding new alerts to our detection platform
• Taking part in an on-call rotation to react quickly when customers need it most

You're the perfect candidate if you

• Have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Have previous experience in (web) cyber security
• Have a real passion for data and automated attack mitigation
• Have expertise in network or web infrastructure
• Are comfortable using AI-assisted tools to speed up and improve your analysis work
• You build bots in your spare time
• You have used Kibana
• You have worked with databases such as Elasticsearch
• You understand how the internet works

Our Dashboard stack is mainly Elasticsearch and MariaDB for storage, with Symfony 8 and Angular 21. Our infrastructure runs on AWS, GCP and Azure, using Docker, Ansible and Terraform, and is monitored with Grafana, Prometheus and DataDog. We are also heavily invested in integrating AI into our engineering workflows.
