Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking an experienced Cyber/Cloud Security Specialist for a freelance, 12-month contract in Paris. Hybrid arrangement with three days on-site, starting in October, to help define a target operating model across a global, multi-entity organisation using Microsoft Azure, AWS and hybrid environments.

You will assess SOC/XDR architecture, lead workshops, and shape governance, processes and KPIs to enable secure, efficient threat detection and incident response.

Qualifications

• Experience in SOC, XDR/EDR, SIEM and incident response.
• Knowledge of Azure/AWS security technologies, threat detection and vulnerability management.

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity expert to help define our target operating model across a global, multi-entity organisation operating in Microsoft Azure, AWS and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess SOC/XDR architecture, security tooling, integrations and operational maturity.
• Define the target operating model across Global Security, local entities, SOC and security product teams.
• Lead workshops to design end-to-end processes for threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management and remediation.
• Clarify roles, responsibilities, governance and escalation procedures across global and local teams.
• Develop a practical implementation roadmap, supported by clear KPIs and service-level expectations.

Key experience:

• Strong expertise in SOC, XDR/EDR, SIEM and incident response.
• Knowledge of Azure/AWS security technologies, threat detection and vulnerability management.
• Proven experience in operating model design, process development and stakeholder workshop facilitation.
• Ability to bridge technical security expertise with governance and operational transformation.

Experience in global, federated organisations and financial services is highly desirable.
