Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to assist customers, process transactions, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. You will help stock shelves, unload deliveries, and ensure merchandise is presented neatly while providing friendly service.

This position is based at the Paris, Arkansas store and requires reliable, team-oriented work habits. Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs, good communication, and a customer-first attitude are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at cash register and maintain cash security.
• Keep store stocked and recover merchandise; unload deliveries as needed.
• Ensure a safe, positive, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Other duties as assigned*

Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
