Customer Project Manager F/M
We are looking for a Customer Project Manager at our Massy site, to support our rapid growth.
Attached to the Customer project department, the Customer Project Manager is responsible for managing propulsion projects, from systems’ specific accommodation fitting the platform to delivery to customers.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing electric propulsion customer projects from initiation to completion. Developing and driving detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure project milestones (internal and external) are achieved on time, on quality, and on cost.
- Overseeing the execution of the Statement of Work (SOW) and contracts, ensuring adherence to scope. Coordinating with Sales for any additional charges due to scope changes and proposing contract waivers or deviations when necessary to maintain flexibility while staying compliant with project requirements.
- Planning/monitoring resources for the successful completion of the projects.
- Writing and organising technical documentation.
- Achievement of project objectives in terms of scope, time, costs, quality and customer satisfaction.
- Implementing proactive risk and opportunity management within the projects.
- Coordination and tracking of customer requirements vs. contractual scope of works.
- Managing daily operations of the technical multifunctional project teams.
- Management of relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and with all internal stakeholders (including reporting and analysis).
- Organising presentations, workshops, and project reviews (internally and with customers).
- Feeding the company product roadmap with projects and customers feedback.
- Resolving possible conflicts (internally and with customers).
- Promoting Exotrail’s development culture to customers.
Preferred Experience
- At least 8 years in project management, ideally in space industry.
- Hands‑on experience in space/propulsion subjects is a plus.
- Startup experience is a plus.
- Highly motivated and capable to work in a challenging field, and that excels in a collaborative environment.
- Proactive, dynamic, hands‑on, success and solution oriented.
- Willing to devote time and effort to documentation, planning tasks, managing the customer relationship while coordinating teams internally.
