Job summary

Lucis is building an OS for human longevity and is hiring a CTO right-hand to accelerate speed and quality by embedding AI into how we work. The role focuses on identifying high-leverage workflows, turning them into repeatable playbooks, and establishing guardrails for reliable, trustworthy outputs.

You will collaborate across teams, drive rapid prototyping, and help orchestrate technical work with the CTO. Paris-based hub, with relocation support for the right candidates.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in product engineering, platform engineering, technical enablement, or applied AI with shipped outcomes.
• Power user of modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, v0, etc.) with ability to explain failures and fixes.
• Prototype quickly and deliver small improvements on a weekly cadence.
• Strong enablement instincts; able to teach, write clearly, and drive adoption with both technical and non-technical teammates.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-leverage workflows across teams and turn them into repeatable playbooks and lightweight internal products.
• Put measurement in place and build guardrails so outputs are reliable, safe, and trustworthy.
• Support the CTO with tech/founder-level tasks and ensure coordination of technical and product work.

Over the last year, AI went from being helpful to something closer to an internal harness, an army of agents: capable of drafting, coding, analyzing, and operating across many steps when given the right context and guardrails.

We think the next step-function in startup speed will come from teams that operationalize AI well:

• Not one-off prompts.

• But repeatable workflows that the whole company trusts and actually adopts.

This role exists to make that real at Lucis.

We are hiring a CTO right-hand to make Lucis meaningfully faster and higher quality by embedding AI into how we work.

This is not a pure research role. It is an enablement + systems role:

• You will find high-leverage workflows across teams.
• Turn them into repeatable playbooks and lightweight internal products.
• Put measurement in place.
• Build guardrails so the outputs are reliable, safe, and trustworthy.
• Help the CTO in anything tech/founder-level, and ensure that technical and product-related work is orchestrated properly.

You’ll fit in well if

• Have 1 to 3+ years in product engineering, platform eng, technical enablement, or applied AI, with clear evidence of shipped outcomes.
• Are a power user of modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, v0, etc.) and can explain when they fail and what you do about it. You've reached stage 3 or 4 of the state of AI adoption.
• Can prototype quickly and ship small improvements weekly.
• Have strong enablement instincts. You can teach, write clearly, and drive adoption with technical and non-technical teammates.
• Are pragmatic and impact-drivenYou optimize for workflows people use and trust, not novelty.
