Description du poste

As a Credit Manager and Collections Team Leader you will lead the team responsible for the ledger of customers relating to all business units. You will manage a team of Credit managers and Collection: 4 direct people, 20 indirect.

You will report to the Director of Credit, EMEA. This job requires Hybrid Model - 3 days at the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Resource planning, performance reviews, training, and coverage during peak periods.
  • Credit Strategy: Manage legal processes, minimize risk, and enforce bad debt policy.
  • Collections Oversight: Proactive chasing, query resolution, and strong business partnerships.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Month-end performance, overdue analysis, and action plans.
  • Process Excellence: Lead reviews, audits, and improvement initiatives aligned with EMEA policy.
  • Risk Management: Credit decisions per approval matrix; manage legal accounts and insurance claims.
  • Shared Services Integration: Drive usage and transitions for credit back office, AR, and cash application.
Qualifications
  • Diplom: Master Degree in Finance or related fields or equivalent.
  • Min 8+ years experience in Finance or credit management roles, including at least 5+ years in team lead roles.
  • Experience working in cross-cultural teams and managing processes in international environments, ideally in Retail/Distribution sector would be appreciated.
  • Strong technical experience in local legislation, credits, collections, Ability to prioritize and solution oriented.
  • Abilities to communicate efficiently, attention to detail, and customer service mindset.
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
  • Fluency in French and English proficiency are mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel around 20% (Saint Jean de La Ruelle, occasionally abroad in Rubi, or Brno).
