Job summary

ICON is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate in Paris or Lyon with hybrid or remote options. You will monitor Phase I-III trials, qualify and initiate sites, manage regulatory submissions, and ensure data integrity and patient safety across diverse therapeutic areas.

The role requires an advanced degree in life sciences or related fields, proven CRA experience in CRO/pharma, and fluency in French and English. Strong organizational and mentorship abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Medicine, or related field.
• Significant CRA experience in CRO or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to independently manage multiple sites and priorities.
• Expertise in site management, monitoring activities, and clinical trial systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent French and English.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Independently monitor Phase I-III clinical trials in compliance with ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site qualification, initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits.
• Manage study documentation, regulatory submissions, and ethics committee/IRB approvals.
• Ensure protocol compliance, data integrity, and patient safety throughout the study lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with investigators and site staff to support successful study delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional study teams to ensure high-quality data collection and timely reporting.
• Support issue resolution and drive study milestones to meet sponsor expectations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced CRAs when required.
• Ensure study cost efficiency and proactive risk management.
• Manage clinical studies across multiple therapeutic areas including; Oncology (Solid Tumors, Hematology & CAR-T), Neurology, Psychiatry, Cardiology, Dermatology, and NASH.
