Description du poste

Health can’t wait.

Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t.

Alan exists to end the wait.

Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way.

So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience.

We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR.

Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 800+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond.

The team and your missions

As Alan’s Corporate Paralegal, you will be the operational backbone of the Corporate Governance Area, owning the processes that keep our corporate governance running smoothly across a fast-growing, expanding, international group, while building the AI processes that will allow Alan to scale sustainably. Currently, the Alan group spans across six jurisdictions, and a dozen entities, and those numbers are expected to grow quickly in the coming months.

You will run our core corporate governance and legal transactions with full ownership. You will support Alan’s Corporate Governance area on entity management, corporate secretarial matters, and cross-border corporate projects. There will also be opportunities to assist with M&A or fundraising transactions.

Example of tasks include:

  • Prepare corporate documentation for Boards and General Meetings, globally, coordinating with internal teams and auditors;
  • Keep governance documentation accurate and up to date across a growing international group;
  • Handle the annual accounts closing process across our entities and maintain up to date filings, corporate formalities and reporting with authorities or auditors;
  • Be the go‑to contact for shareholder or Board questions;
  • Conduct legal research and drafting with the support of other Corporate Governance area members.

You will help improve the way our work is done, by creating the governance playbook as Alan keeps growing with improved documentation, workflows, and guidance. You will branch out of pure legal work and collaborate cross-functionally with other teams where needed (Finance, People…).

Example of tasks include:

  • Help establish and maintain governance processes as Alan opens entities;
  • Build playbooks and tools to support the governance of our international entities;
  • Adapt equity frameworks and documentation to new countries and local rules.

You will automate repeatable steps and contribute to the development of a more scalable corporate governance function. You will become one of our AI builders on legal corporate matters, turning tasks into smart automated systems while preserving human review, accountability and legal quality control.

Example of tasks include:

  • Enhance the team’s autonomy by building workflows that run in the background with light human maintenance, with the support of Alan’s internal tooling team where needed, using no-code/low-code platforms and Alan's internal AI system;
  • Automate recurring corporate events such as equity movements or meeting minutes.

You will work as part of the Corporate Governance Area, led by Anne-Lise Delfanne, where legal and corporate operations experts collaborate closely to orchestrate governance operations and company-wide strategic initiatives.

At Alan, we embrace that roles evolve and expand beyond their initial scope. Your journey will be filled with opportunities to grow into broader projects.

Key outcomes after six months

By the end of the first six months, successful onboarding would mean for you to have:

  • Gained deeper understanding of Alan’s governance mechanics, equity structures and regulatory context and taken ownership of recurring governance workflows for our French entities’ governance (to start with) confidently;
  • Trained yourself to build AI agents and workflows that remove a meaningful chunk of manual work from you and the team;
  • Built or improved internal templates and documentation to strengthen the team’s knowledge;
  • Contributed to our international expansion by opening new local entities, supporting a new filing process, or onboarding local teams on our corporate governance processes.

From then onwards, the role will grow with you, as you prove ownership on the core governance scope, you will have the opportunity to take on more diverse projects (M&A, fundraising, reorganisations, etc.).

Who we are looking for

This role sits at the intersection of legal knowledge, corporate operations, and AI tooling. We don't expect anyone to arrive fully skilled across all three dimensions. What matters most is your ownership mindset and genuine appetite to build. For the rest, we'll grow together.

Experience: at least 3 years as a secretarial paralegal (corporate, M&A, finance), legal assistant at a reputable international law firm or in-house at a tier-1 scale-up with comparable exposure.

  • Legal knowledge: you have completed a law degree or equivalent paralegal qualification; you have a solid understanding of corporate governance mechanics;
  • AI and tooling appetite: strong appetite to learn or already comfortable with no-code/low-code platforms (e.g. Make, Zapier, Notion automations), workflows, AI tools, and structured data;
  • Language: excellent written and spoken English (working language at Alan) and French.

Behavioural traits

  • Highly organized and rigorous, with exceptional attention to details;
  • Hands‑on and self‑starter: not scared of getting your hands dirty;
  • Automatization mindset: sees repetitive work as an opportunity to build something better, not just a task to complete;
  • Intellectual curiosity: genuine appetite to learn and go beyond the initial scope.

For this opportunity, we are aiming to hire within the B0-C0 level range.

Important note: we hire people, not roles.

If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply, as it can only bring learnings or success.

If you identify yourself as a woman: Did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements?

Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We'll be thrilled to receive your application!
