TES is seeking a Contract Engineer for the Live Oak project, based in Paris. The role involves managing the FEED contract and assisting with EPC contract administration during later stages, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.

This position requires English proficiency, a relevant degree, and 15+ years in energy projects, including 10 years in project CFT and contract administration, with familiarity in Windows Office tools and ARIBA.

Qualifications

• Must hold engineering, business, or law degree.
• English language skills required for communication in project environments.
• Over 15 years of professional experience in energy projects; 10 years in project CFT and contract administration.

Responsabilités

• Manage the CCFT FEED Contract and preparation of execution contracts.
• Support the CCFT Manager on technical and commercial clarifications during FEED.
• Support the engineering manager during FEED execution.
• Ensure tenders and contract activities comply with regulations, TTE rules and procedures.
• Prepare all procedures related to contract.
• Organize clarification meetings.
• Negotiate contract and prepare RTA.
• Assist Project Control Manager in small contracts placement and related activities.
• Prepare variations and maintain Variation register; assist with claims and disputes.

Missions / Service Dimensions

The service holder shall prepare and administrate all the contracts placed by the project in the following project phases (Pre-project, FEED). He might be involved in the preparation and administration of the EPC contract in a second time.

Activities

1. Manage the CCFT FEED Contract and preparation of the execution Contracts
2. Support the CCFT Manager on Technical and commercial clarification during the FEED CCFT.
3. Support the engineering manager during the FEED execution.
4. Ensure that all tenders and contract activities are performed in accordance with regulations, TTE rules and procedures
5. Prepare all procedures related to contract
6. Organize clarification meetings
7. Negotiate contract and prepare RTA
8. Support the Project Control manager in all small contracts placement and all contract-related activities.
9. Prepare Variation and maintain Variation register and assist Project Control Manager in Matters concerning Claims, Disputes and negotiation.
10. Assist and advise Project Control Manager and Project Manager on all matters related to contract administration

Context & Environment

Project Live Oak is a large-scale e-NG initiative in Nebraska, jointly developed by our client, TES, and several Japanese partners. The GPI Team will be based in Paris during the FEED and might move later to EPC contractor offices.
