Job summary

Salomon is seeking a Consumer Insights Intern to support projects translating consumer, retail and market observations into actionable insights. You will assist with desk research, data analysis, interviews, focus groups, and store visits while collaborating with product, marketing and sales teams.

Ideal candidates show meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to synthesize information for clear takeaways.

Qualifications

• Excellent level of English; French is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working with data and qualitative information.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• Previous experience in sports, fashion, footwear or retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducting desk research on strategic topics, consumer trends, competitors and the sports retail environment.
• Supporting quantitative data analysis or qualitative research projects such as interviews, focus groups, store visits and consumer observations.
• Collecting, analyzing and synthesizing consumer, market and retail insights.
• Creating clear, synthetic and visual reports and presentations.
• Supporting the preparation and presentation of key findings and recommendations to internal teams.
• Helping internal teams translate insights into concrete actions.
• Supporting retail-focused projects involving key strategic partners and channels.
