Novaspace, a global leading consulting firm in the space sector, is seeking motivated professionals to support and lead complex advisory engagements across strategy, market development and policy.

You will interact with clients, partners and decision-makers in industry and government, contribute to sector studies, business cases and impact assessments, and mentor teams on international projects, with primarily Brussels-based work and occasional on-site assignments with defence organisations.

Qualifications

• Advanced consulting and analytical skills required for sector studies, market entry strategies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client-facing work and reports.
• Ability to engage with senior decision-makers in space and defence ecosystems.

Our consulting service lines span strategy, market development and innovation advisory. We are looking for motivated, experienced professionals to support on and lead typical consultant tasks such as: sector and market entry strategies, economic and cost benefit analyses, investment business cases, impact assessment of policy options, market studies, strategic and business planning, user requirement gathering and analysis, program and project management. The role includes interaction with clients, partners and program stakeholders with exposure to senior decision-makers in the space ecosystem, both in industry and government.

Desired skills & experience

• Advanced consulting skill-set: problem solving skills, quantitative and qualitative analytics, advanced writing skills and presentation skills
• Fast learner, flexible, organised, meticulous and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and yet to work effectively and nicely in a team
• Previous experience in international management consultancy
• Strong academic background
• Interest or experience in space, security or defence sectors
• Fully fluent in English
• NATO citizen; must be eligible to obtain a security clearance
• Flexibility for occasional international travel (mostly day-trips)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite

Any of the following would be a plus

• Military or defence-sector experience (e.g., service background, work with defence ministries, armed forces, or NATO bodies) and understanding of operational, policy, or capability-development processes
• Engineering/ scientific background / interest in space technology
• Working knowledge in a second or more European languages, e.g. French, German, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Polish ...
• Public sector consulting experience and knowledge of European institutionsOther work experience, e.g. in market research and economic analysis
