Job summary

Ginesis Finance is seeking a consolidation consultant to support finance transformation projects across major groups in the Paris region. You will strengthen consolidation activities, ensure quality of consolidated financial statements and manage data integration during closings and audits.

Ideal candidates have a Master in accounting/finance and at least five years of consolidation experience, preferably in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting, finance or audit and at least 5 years’ consolidation experience, ideally in a group or international environment.
• Experience in a consulting firm or company working on transformation projects is a plus.
• Strong command of IFRS standards and consolidation processes; familiarity with consolidation tools.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen consolidation teams in production activities and ensure quality of consolidated financial statements.
• Collect and check reporting packages, integrate data, make adjustments, analyze variances and prepare group reports.
• Support deadlines during closings and audits; ensure data reliability and compliance.

Ready to join consolidation consultants? At Ginesis Finance, you will work with the Finance Departments of the largest groups, mainly in the Paris region.

Long-term assignments, averaging 6 months, in fast-moving sectors: energy, luxury, transport, industry, retail… You will not get bored!

You contribute to operational support assignments and structuring finance transformation projects.

As a consolidation consultant, what exactly will you do?

• You strengthen consolidation teams in their production activities and ensure the quality of consolidated financial statements. You monitor regulatory developments (IFRS, local standards) and best practices to optimise processes.
• You participate in carrying out consolidation activities: collecting and checking reporting packages, integrating data, making adjustments, analysing variances, preparing consolidated financial statements and group reporting . You contribute to implementing or improving procedures and internal controls to ensure data reliability.
• You are present during key periods (closings, audits) to ensure deadlines are met and information is compliant.
• Y ou support teams in using consolidation tools and provide your expertise to resolve operational issues.
• You participate in continuous improvement projects covering:
• Redesigning consolidation processes,
• Ensuring the reliability and automation of data and reporting,
• Optimising or implementing consolidation tools (SAP Group Reporting, SAP BFC, Tagetik, OneStream, Oracle FCC, HFM, etc.) and Disclosure Management.

You have a higher education degree (Master’s level) in accounting, finance or audit, and at least 5 years’ experience in consolidation, ideally in a group or international environment. Experience in a consulting firm or company working on transformation projects would be an advantage.

Your strengths: you have a strong command of IFRS standards and consolidation processes. You have a good knowledge of dedicated tools (SAP BFC , Tagetik , OneStream , HFM…). You are comfortable working in a team and communicating with various stakeholders, in both French and English
