This position focuses on software development and algorithms that leverage coherent beams, requiring a PhD in a scientific field and strong programming skills in Python. The role includes supportingbeamlines and conducting original research with various scientists. The Extremely Brilliant Source upgrade has doubled the coherent X‑ray flux, benefiting techniques such as coherent diffraction imaging, holo‑tomography, and ptychography. Your work will focus on software development and algorithms that exploit coherent beams, including far‑field and near‑field imaging, GPU acceleration, and machine learning.
Temporary contract of 5 years.
The salary will be calculated on the basis of relevant qualifications and professional experience.
