Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to accelerate the development of science-based technologies in biochemistry and neuroscience, focusing on retina signaling and myopia control. Qualifications

• Postdoctoral in quantitative biology, computational neuroscience, or a related discipline.
• Research record with original contributions in quantitative science through publications or software.
• Experience in acquiring and analysing noisy biological data.
• Programming (preferably in Python).
• Biochemistry, neuroscience, data analysis, machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Formulate biological questions underlying eye growth and design experiments with academic partners.
• Develop mechanistic, statistical and ML models to test hypotheses on biological data.
• Define research plans, milestones and deliverables for industrial R&D.
• Prepare internal reports and conference contributions to communicate findings.
