Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a competent Compounding Technician I to assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications in a clean room environment.

You will help ensure accurate dosing, proper labeling, and safe handling of meds, while maintaining equipment and cleanroom standards. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of pharmacy technician experience, and state licensure/registration where required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with policies and procedures and state regulations.
• Prepare medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Accurately label and package medications.
• Participate in reporting medication-related incidents.
• Ensure pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods are cleaned and sanitized.
• Inspect equipment and document equipment failures or defects.
• Maintain pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
